The Yaesu GS-680U is a heavy-duty universal mast thrust bearing designed to provide structural support for rotating antenna masts in tower-mounted directional antenna installations. Installed above the rotator unit, the GS-680U offloads vertical and lateral wind-induced stress from the rotator—improving rotational stability and prolonging rotator service life.

Also referred to as a mast support bearing, the GS-680U stabilizes the antenna mast during rotation—ensuring smooth operation even when subjected to lateral wind thrust from large HF beam or VHF/UHF antenna arrays.

  • Stacked Yagi Arrays

  • VHF/UHF Directional Arrays

The GS-680U allows correction for minor mast tilt and can be installed without dismantling the antenna system—facilitating maintenance in fixed tower installations.
