Operators can enjoy 8–9 hours of typical activity thanks to its efficient 6-6-48 duty cycle performance. Charging is simple and flexible — use a standard 13.8V power source or modern USB-C PD (45W or greater, 15V/2A) for on-the-go convenience.

With full SSB, CW, AM, FM, and C4FM operation, plus simultaneous receive and true dual-band capabilities, the FTX-1 Field is built to support everything from casual ragchews to emergency comms, FT8 work, APRS® data, WIRES-X (available Aug 2025), and CW-focused operation.
