The YAESU FTDX10 is a compact HF + 50 MHz Hybrid SDR base station transceiver designed to deliver high dynamic range receiver performance alongside stable 100W RF output in a space-efficient form factor. Leveraging RF design elements from the flagship FTDX-101 series, the FTDX10 incorporates a hybrid receiver architecture combining a narrowband SDR signal path with a direct-sampling SDR spectrum scope—resulting in improved adjacent channel selectivity, enhanced strong-signal handling, and reduced intermodulation distortion in crowded HF band conditions.

Equipped with a high-speed 32-bit IF DSP processing chain, the transceiver enables advanced digital signal conditioning including noise reduction (DNR), contour filtering, IF bandwidth/shift control, and automatic notch filtering to enhance signal intelligibility during weak-signal or high-QRM operation. The integrated 5-inch full-color touchscreen display with real-time 3D spectrum scope provides continuous spectral awareness, enabling faster signal acquisition and efficient band monitoring across contest and DX workflows.

Supporting SSB, CW, AM, FM, RTTY, and PSK digital modes, the FTDX10 is optimized for both voice and high-duty digital operation—making it suitable for fixed-station HF communication, digital gateway infrastructure, and transportable base deployments within the RFCharge SDR lineup.
