The TYT UVL-15W is a high-power dual-band VHF/UHF handheld transceiver designed for amateur radio operators requiring extended communication range and advanced field-ready functionality. Supporting operation across the 2m and 70cm amateur bands, the UVL-15W enables stable analog FM communication for both simplex and repeater-based networks.

Delivering up to 15W RF output power, the UVL-15W offers significantly enhanced transmission capability compared to conventional handheld radios—making it suitable for portable operations, emergency communication setups, and long-range field deployments.

Integrated GPS and APRS functionality allows real-time position reporting and tracking, while built-in AM Airband receive support (108–136 MHz) enables aviation band monitoring alongside amateur communication.

Its dual-receiver architecture supports simultaneous monitoring of independent frequencies across VHF and UHF bands, allowing operators to monitor repeater traffic while maintaining simplex communication in parallel.
