The TYT TH-9800 Plus is a compact quad-band FM mobile transceiver engineered to deliver repeater-grade RF performance with selectable transmit output levels of 50W / 20W / 10W / 5W across 10m, 6m, and 2m bands, and 40W / 20W / 10W / 5W on the 70cm band.

Designed with dual-watch receiver architecture, the transceiver enables simultaneous monitoring of independent frequencies across configurable band combinations (V+V / U+U / V+U). Integrated cross-band repeat mode allows the TH-9800 Plus to function as an RF relay node between handheld devices and fixed repeater infrastructure in field communication environments.

Supporting programmable channel spacing from 2.5 kHz to 50 kHz, along with tone signaling including 50 CTCSS and 1024 DCS codes, the TH-9800 Plus ensures compatibility with coordinated analog repeater networks and narrowband FM communication systems.

A detachable remote-mountable control head and integrated cooling system allow flexible installation within vehicle dashboards or base-station mobile racks while maintaining thermal stability during prolonged transmission cycles.
