The TYT MD-9600 GPS is a compact dual-mode DMR / analog FM mobile transceiver designed to deliver repeater-grade RF performance with selectable transmit output levels of 50W / 20W / 10W / 5W (VHF) and 45W / 20W / 10W / 5W (UHF) across amateur VHF/UHF bands.
Supporting 250 programmable zones, TDMA two-slot digital operation, and group / private / all-call functionality, the MD-9600 enables efficient talkgroup-based communication across DMR repeater networks and digital voice hotspots.
Integrated tone signaling including CTCSS / DCS (Analog Mode), along with emergency alarm, text messaging, and talk-around functionality, ensures interoperability across hybrid analog-digital communication environments.
The rugged metal chassis construction and 13.8V DC mobile power interface allow stable long-duty transmission cycles in vehicle-mounted amateur radio installations.
