The Comet CAT-300 is a high-performance manual antenna tuning unit (ATU) designed for precise impedance matching across the HF and 6m amateur bands. Engineered to support a wide range of antenna types—including dipoles, verticals, long-wire antennas, and mobile whips—the CAT-300 enables efficient transmitter operation by minimizing reflected power through manual LC network tuning.

Utilizing a robust T-network matching circuit, the CAT-300 allows operators to manually adjust inductive and capacitive parameters for optimal SWR across 1.8 MHz to 50 MHz, making it suitable for multi-band HF base stations and mobile installations.

With support for transmit power up to 300W (SSB/CW), the CAT-300 is ideal for:
