The ATU-100 Automatic Antenna Tuner is a compact microcontroller-based external antenna matching unit designed for efficient impedance matching across the HF and 6m amateur bands. Based on the open-source N7DDC auto-tuner architecture, the ATU-100 utilizes a relay-switched LC network to automatically tune non-resonant antennas such as end-fed wires, mobile whips, verticals, and random-length dipoles—without requiring manual tuning adjustments.
Supporting operation across 1.8 MHz – 50 MHz, the ATU-100 can automatically achieve antenna impedance matching to improve transmitter efficiency and reduce reflected power during portable, mobile, or compact base HF deployments.
