The Anytone AT-588 (2 Meter Version) is a high-power VHF FM mobile transceiver engineered for amateur radio communication across the 144–148 MHz band. Delivering up to 60W RF output power, the AT-588 supports reliable long-range simplex and repeater-based communication in both mobile and fixed-station environments.
Engineered with programmable 200-channel memory architecture, the transceiver supports flexible channel management with alphanumeric tagging for organized repeater access and simplex communication.
Integrated signaling standards including CTCSS, DCS, DTMF, 2-Tone, and 5-Tone enable interoperability with analog repeater systems and group communication networks, while selectable 25 kHz / 12.5 kHz FM bandwidths support operation across amateur and commercial narrowband environments.
The built-in cooling system and mobile mounting hardware ensure stable thermal performance during extended transmission cycles in vehicle-mounted communication setups.
